Read Joel 1 carefully below. Notice verse 16: Has not food been cut off before our eyes, Gladness and joy from the house of our God?
Congregations in America are too happy with their materialism and comforts resulting from the Federal Reserve and the federal government (state) stealing, killing and destroying others around the world–A FACT. (I have studied the movement of fiat money and especially fiat fractional reserve credit all of my adult life and this statement of living at the expense of others around the world is a fact!) This–too much happiness with materialism providing comforts–is a total LACK OF BALANCE–AN ATTITUDE OF SOMBERNESS IS SOMETIMES REQUIRED THAT ALLOWS ASKING FOR FORGIVENESS FROM GOD, WHICH ALLOWS TRUE REPENTANCE –AND HOW CAN REAL REPENTANCE OCCUR IF WE DO NOT DEAL WITH THE TRUTH ABOUT THE U.S. GOVERNMENT AND ITS CRONIES; AND THEN ASK GOD FOR FORGIVENESS. IGNORING THE FACTS (TRUTH) WILL NOT SET US FREE.
And read about truth (aletheia).
Why are the IMF and Federal Reserve loans (tribute for poor countries to pay) involve only the U.S. Federal Reserve, Wall Street banks and the U.S. Treasury and elitist U.S. government-connected companies? Because the dollar is the world reserve currency (for now) and the U.S. is a military empire tampering with the rest of the world, especially through the CIA . As a result (of the dollar and the petrodollar), countries around the world must pay tribute (called loans) to the IMF and the U.S. Federal Reserve, brokered by Wall Street banks that involve American elitist companies. These countries then must now pay tribute (which they cannot do) and to avoid dealing with the military and even worse the CIA, they must honor the loan agreements (tribute not loans) and lose their mineral rights and other assets of their countries to the elitist American companies and also their banks cannot loan to individuals or companies in their countries..
Many people around the world die each day because the U.S. is an empire due to the dollar being the world reserve currency. The thought of so many dying each day, plus those being beheaded (we do not know how many because of so many false flags) in the Middle East due to their beliefs, disturbs me. It disturbs me not only because people are being murdered also because so few Americans know or understand what is going on (aletheia–truth). My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6.
Aletheia (truth) means wake up, and be aware so that you can maneuver in life according to the Bible and the Spirit. Wake up and stop shutting out reality. This is aletheia; and it means a real life of belief and faith—faith without works is dead (and Watchmen warn of the hazards but as shown in the Bible, few listen to Watchmen).
Aletheia is preparing from facts of the world that you see. When you see facts that are truth (aletheia), then knowing the truth allows one to be set free. John 8:32. For example, Peter learned a fact when he denied Christ three times; and that truth was that he was self-righteous. He learned this truth and he dealt with it and was set free. He could have refused to deal with the truth and continue praising the Lord in the synagogue but he would have been imprisoned by his self-righteousness and not set free.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Hosea 4:6.
The Devastation of Locusts
1 The word of the Lord that came to Joel, the son of Pethuel:
2 Hear this, O elders,
And listen, all inhabitants of the land.
Has anything like this happened in your days
Or in your fathers’ days?
3 Tell your sons about it,
And let your sons tell their sons,
And their sons the next generation.
4 What the gnawing locust has left, the swarming locust has eaten;
And what the swarming locust has left, the creeping locust has eaten;
And what the creeping locust has left, the stripping locust has eaten.
5 Awake, drunkards, and weep;
And wail, all you wine drinkers,
On account of the sweet wine
That is cut off from your mouth.
6 For a nation has invaded my land,
Mighty and without number;
Its teeth are the teeth of a lion,
And it has the fangs of a lioness.
7 It has made my vine a waste
And my fig tree splinters.
It has stripped them bare and cast them away;
Their branches have become white.
8 Wail like a virgin girded with sackcloth
For the bridegroom of her youth.
9 The grain offering and the drink offering are cut off
From the house of the Lord.
The priests mourn,
The ministers of the Lord.
10 The field is ruined,
The land mourns;
For the grain is ruined,
The new wine dries up,
Fresh oil fails.
11 Be ashamed, O farmers,
Wail, O vinedressers,
For the wheat and the barley;
Because the harvest of the field is destroyed.
12 The vine dries up
And the fig tree fails;
The pomegranate, the palm also, and the apple tree,
All the trees of the field dry up.
Indeed, rejoicing dries up
From the sons of men.
13 Gird yourselves with sackcloth
And lament, O priests;
Wail, O ministers of the altar!
Come, spend the night in sackcloth
O ministers of my God,
For the grain offering and the drink offering
Are withheld from the house of your God.
Starvation and Drought
14 Consecrate a fast,
Proclaim a solemn assembly;
Gather the elders
And all the inhabitants of the land
To the house of the Lord your God,
And cry out to the Lord.
15 Alas for the day!
For the day of the Lord is near,
And it will come as destruction from the Almighty.
16 Has not food been cut off before our eyes,
Gladness and joy from the house of our God?
17 The seeds shrivel under their clods;
The storehouses are desolate,
The barns are torn down,
For the grain is dried up.
18 How the beasts groan!
The herds of cattle wander aimlessly
Because there is no pasture for them;
Even the flocks of sheep suffer.
19 To You, O Lord, I cry;
For fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness
And the flame has burned up all the trees of the field.
20 Even the beasts of the field pant for You;
For the water brooks are dried up
And fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness.
