We’ve taken the cross out of salvation and offered its benefits

A post regarding cheap grace and the once saved, always saved doctrine…

We’ve taken the Cross out of salvation and offered its benefits.” This [taking the cross out of salvation and bragging about all the things that we are doing for God because He blessed us] is the Jezebel doctrine [means false doctrine in Greek]—godliness for gain; and the Bible says” From such withdraw yourself.   If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness [the doctrine of God our Savior Jesus Christ–Titus 2];   Jezebel in Greek means false doctrine–see below.

He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. 1 Timothy 6:3-5

God’s Doctrine of hierarchy, the violation of which is blasphemy; doctrine of God our Savior Jesus Christ (Denying ungodliness, going through sanctification and living a sober life)

How Jezebel’s False Doctrine Distorts God’s Grace and Truth

Mark 10:17-21  –   READ THIS CAREFULLY!

17 Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” [HE DID NOT ASK WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED BECAUSE THE SOUL IS SAVED BUT IT IS THE SPIRIT THAT MUST LIVE]

18 So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.

19 You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’”[a]

20 And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.”   LAW

21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.

We have replaced grace with law; the same as happened in Galatians 3:1-10.
