Before 1830 no one had heard of the premillennial rapture. This man-made doctrine was invented by John Darby. Before 1830 believers did not talk much about Jesus returning in the future and bringing His Kingdom, because they knew that He brought His kingdom SPIRITUALLY INSIDE US somewhere around 70 AD. 70 AD was when Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed. Before 1830 believers talked about furthering the SPIRITUAL KINGDOM OF JESUS ON EARTH. Do a Search on this site for Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21, plus the Kingdom of God. Jesus said to His disciples in the foregoing chapters as well as Mark 5, that He was RETURNING DURING THEIR [DISCIPLES] GENERATION IN THE CLOUDS AND BRINGING HIS KINGDOM [INSIDE US].
