Pennsylvania: Audit finds $4.25 billion diverted from road, bridge repair

More than $4.25 billion was diverted from Pennsylvania’s Motor License Fund to the State Police over the past six years, according to a report by Auditor General Eugene DePasquale, leaving the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation without enough money to address the state’s 2,829 structurally deficient bridges…
