31 Do not envy a man of violence
And do not choose any of his ways.
32 For the devious are an abomination to the Lord;
But He is intimate with the upright.
33 The curse of the Lord is on the house of the wicked,
But He blesses the dwelling of the righteous.
34 Though He scoffs at the scoffers,
Yet He gives grace to the afflicted.
35 The wise will inherit honor,
But fools display dishonor.
Because money answers all things, fake and counterfeit money and credit is the first place to look for mans’ deviousness. Debasement of silver in the Old Testament is an abomination (detestable) to God. The deviousness of the Federal Reserve, the fractional reserve system (recently the banks are required to have no reserves), the U.S. Treasury and the fascist crony capitalists are even worse because the currency and credit are created out of thin air. The first recipients of newly-created currency and credit benefit at the expense of later recipients (Nehemiah 5 and other verses; and the Cantillon effects), this is the number one deviousness that I see in the Bible.
