Luke 16:15-17 NASB:
15 And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts; for that which is highly esteemed among men is detestable in the sight of God.
16 “The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John; since that time the gospel of the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it.
17 But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one stroke of a letter of the Law to fail. (See verse 17 below under the KJV for further explanation.)
Luke 16:15-17 King James Version (KJV)
15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
The prophet of the Remnant does not need to advertise for them nor resort to any schemes of publicity to get their attention, as does the prophet of the Masses
“Meanwhile, the Remnant, aware of this adulteration…turn their backs on the prophet [of the masses] and will have nothing to do with him or his message.”
“Everyone with a message nowadays is…eager to take it to the masses…and the only thought is mass acceptance and approval…to put his doctrine in such shape as will capture the masses’ attention and approval…”
