“…the more you know, the more you realize how much you do not know. Similarly, the more you know, the more likely it is that others will irritate you…The more you think…results in a sense of loneliness for the thinker.”
Learning truths and trying to live by truths results in loneliness; whereas those who COMPROMISE are not lonely. Richard Duke
The Scriptures state that Satan is the prince (ruler) of the world (social systems established by man who do not recognize God as Sovereign) and the god of this age (time outside the realm of eternity). Satan rules his kingdom on earth through man (men and women). God’s Kingdom is also ruled through those people who have the Kingdom of Jesus in their hearts–the spirit of Christ sent by God into hearts. Colossians 1:26-27; and all of Galatians but especially Galatians 3:13-14, 16, 26, 29; 4:5-7, 26. Man rules the world by the Hegelian Dialectic and the Cloward-Piven chaos strategy (see below for posts). And through Marxian and Communists beliefs.

WHO I LISTEN TO AND MY INFLUENCERS:
FIRST. I am looking for one or more underlying agendas of speakers and writers. If I see an agenda that the speaker or writer may have, I will not listen to him or her.
SECOND. I ask the question of who does this person work for or where does he get his currency (called “money”)? If he or she is speaking or writing about any area that relates to who pays him or her, I will not listen to him or her.
THIRD. If he or she is speaking or writing about any area that relates to positions of influencers over him or her, I will not listen to him or her.
FOURTH. If the person is a bureaucrat, I will not listen to him or her. A bureaucrat is not allowed to think outside what he is told to do and not do. He is not a free-thinking person.
FIFTH. If is is obvious that the person has no ability to do any critical thinking, then I certainly will not listen to him.
SIXTH. If the person works for any government (federal, state, local) and is protected from immunity (criminal and/or civil lawsuits), then I am extremely skeptical about what he or she says.
SEVENTH. If he is a neo-con–lover of war and empire building and maintaining–then I will not listen to him or her. He is ready to send young men and women to war (but not his own family members) to maintain the empire status of the U.S.
EIGHTH. If he or she remains annonymous and will not state who he. I cannot do any due diligence on such a person so I do not listen to him. And exception to this, for example, is a whistleblower who knows that he most likely is ruining his or her career and reputation (the mainstream will make sure his or her reputation is destroyed).
NINTH. If he or she is a Keynesian, I will listen because they run the world (or think they do–Satan is the ruler of the world, Jesus said) but they have no ability to think because they use math to determine almost everything. Math cannot know anything about human beings and human action. Math and graphs, and the like, cannot look into a man or womans mind or heart when he or she is making valuations and choices. We are not alike. Hence the magnum opus written by Ludwig von Mises, Human Action. My position about Keyesians is that they are pathetic.
TENTH. This one relates to all of the above BUT ESPECIALLY to SIXTH, SEVENTH, EITHTH and NINTH. If he has no skin in the game, then I do not want to listen to him or her and generally will not listen to him or her. Here I am influenced by Nassim Nicholas Taleb, a direct writer, a non-political writer, who despises political correctness, and who names names (states the persons he is talking about who have no skin in the game).
ELEVENTH. If I have a choice, I want to work with asset managers who have a good understaning of the Federal Reserve, including understanding the evils of fiat currency and fractional-reserve credit (creating currency and credit out of thin air). I realize that the attention must be given to what the Fed is doing but I want to work with advisors who understand how legalized counterfeit currency and credit help the first recipients at the expense of later recipients. (As shown by Nehemiah 5; Isaiah 1:21-23; James 5:1-6; other verses; and Austrian economics.) I am a follower of Austrian economics since December 1974 and was counsel to the Mises Institute, Auburn Alabama, from 1983 to 1992, and am now an Ambassador to the Mises Institute, the headquarters for Austrian economics. http://www.mises.org It is important that asset managers understand the “Cantillon effects.” (See below from my review of the book, The Skyscraper Curse, for the Mises Institute.)
TWELTH. I must pay attention to the false flags and the statements and actions of the bankers, globalists, deep-state, etc. as they carry out the Hegelian Dialectic and the Cloward Piven chaos strategies, because these people and those two said strategies run the world and spread the kingdom of Satan on earth. I also have to pay attention to how almost all Americans are under the law and not the promise that goes through the spirit of Abraham and his seed, which is Christ, causing adoption as sons, resuling in receiving the spirit of Christ, sent by God, into hearts–THE KINGDOM OF GOD ON EARTH (SPIRIT OF CHRIST IN HEARTS–BREATH, WHICH GIVES SPIRITUAL LIFE). UlTIMATELY THIS IS A BATTLE BETWEEN THE KINGDOM OF SATAN (THROUGH HIS MEN AND WOMEN OF EARTH) AND THOSE WITH THE PROMISE AND THE SPIRIT OF JESUS IN THEIR HEARTS–THE KINGDOM OF GOD ON EARTH.
THIRTEENTH. One of my prayers is that God implement James 5:1-6 on earth:
Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you. Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. THE MORAL ISSUES OF MONEY
A general, but serious, reason to read this book— The Skyscraper Curse: And How Austrian Economics Predicted Every Major Economic Crisis of The Last Century — is to avoid being one of the millions who will be duped when the next crash (bust) occurs. Millions were and continue to be duped as to the reason for the boom leading up to 2007 and 2008 and why the bust occurred in 2008 relating to real estate.
Thornton begins with an important discussion of money creation and Richard Cantillon, writing: “… Richard Cantillon (1680s-1734?) [was] the first economic theorist and proto-Austrian economist …[he] showed how the interest rate and the money supply can create changes and distortions in the economy, a phenomenon now referred to as “Cantillon effects.”
Monetary inflation is affected by who gets the money and credit first and who gets it last. As fiat money is created by central banks, private banks are in a position to expand the amount of loans they make. The wealthy have established relationships with the banks, and they have the real estate and assets to provide collateral for the loans. Large, established companies and wealthy individuals are in favorable positions relative to small businesses and people with low or average incomes. The loans allow big companies and wealthy individuals to invest in capital goods during the boom phase of the business cycle. Central banks thereby create artificial inequality and poverty. This is the primary Cantillon effect of redistributing wealth.”
Thornton shows that the biggest winners come from the Federal Reserve and the bank system’s creation of newly created currency and credit are the U.S. Government, its large contractors, such as weapons manufacturers, big banks, and Wall Street. The losers are also revealed: the labor class consisting of private-sector workers, those on pensions or fixed incomes.

“The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it.-George Orwell
FROM MY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, I have arrived (for me) to whom I listen to in trying to determine real truths and facts. My unlisted begins with the negative: who I do not pay attention to. This applies to speakers and writers. Truth is important because it is the opposite of being brainwashed. Truth in the Bible is aletheia, which means knowing what is going on around you. So, the Bible clearly does not want us to be brainwashed. God gave us free wills; and our wills are not free if we are brainwashed. A person who does no critical thinking is not aware that he is brainwashed; and I submit that they are some of the most dangerous people. A person who is unaware that he is being brainwashed from every direction each and every day is a person who is deluded and lost. So much brainwashing exists that some brainwashing must be identified every day and fought against in our minds and hearts. This requires critical thinking, which little exists now.
(I will refer to the plural and singular interchangeably [of speakers and writers].)
Also, if I have personally known a person for a good length of time and know about how he attempts to espouse truths, then the below does not apply. If I have read many books and/or articles by persons and see that he or she has not agenda other than attempting to state truths, then the below does not apply.
If you follow this blog then you know that I am greatly influenced by the Bible and Austrian economics.
I mention Nassim Nicholas Taleb (as soon as a new book of his is published I buy and read), and others below, because I am extremely skeptical of what anyone says who has no skin in the game. And those following this blog have every right to apply the skin-in-the-game to Richard Duke. (I do believe that when I go against the mainstream, which is practically all the time, including interpretations of the Bible by the mainstream, in certain areas, and especially by what Keynesians spew forth through almost every venue: colleges and universities, news media, governments, the Federal Reserve, banks, and on and on.)
A statement I often make is: The mainstream exists to perpetuate their causes, purposes and to maintain the benefits of the mainstream.
I am influenced most by three people: Ludwig von Mises; Murray N. Rothbard; and Jesus Christ. And my deceased father. I hope it is obvious why I am influenced by Jesus Christ, because of who He is. Jesus Christ, Mises and Rothbard NEVER, EVER COMPROMISED THE TRUTH. Jesus certainly knew truths; and when Mises and Rothbard were certain in their minds about truth, they refused to compromise that truth. (Politicians and political-types, and especially the psychopaths and sociopaths, compromise the truth as a matter of course.) I am influenced by Mises and Rothbard because they stood for the truth even though it harmed them financially and resulted in attacks against them by the mainstream, especially the Keynesian economists. The mainstream marginalized Mises and Rothbard. But they carried on with their work.
Mises and Rothbard lived by the motto of Mises:
I am also influenced by the German pastor, Dietrich Bonhoeffer. He refused to compromise the truth and was hanged at age 39. He refused to be involved with the Hitler-controlled church. Hitler personally wanted him hanged because Bonhoeffer, spoke out against him publicly, and behind the scenes he was involve in the attempt to kill Hitler by a bomb on an airplace, which failed to detonate because of the freezing weather.
“In ‘Skin in the Game’, I state that there is no group that violates morality rules and symmetry (fundamental ethics) as much as the neocons”–Nassim Nicholas Taleb
